Desc: Korreltjie niks is my dood: Directed by Saskia van Schaik. A study of the South African poet Ingrid Jonker, who upon her death by suicide in 1965 at age 31 left only a few works of poetry - which nevertheless have endured and recently led to a revived interest in her writing. Her poem The Child - written about a black baby killed in her mother's arms by white soldiers during 1960 demonstrations - was recited by Nelson Mandela upon opening the first session of the new South African government in 1995.
